91爆料 Children's Theater will be holding  for the summer 2026 production on Sunday, March 29th at 10am in the Keck Theater Rehearsal Room (K208). Callbacks are TBA. All are welcome to audition! No prior experience necessary!

THIS IS A PAID POSITION!

翱肠肠颈诲别苍迟补濒&苍产蝉辫;颁丑颈濒诲谤别苍鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;罢丑别补迟别谤&苍产蝉辫;is a thrilling hour of storytelling, full of movement, jokes and audience interaction. The cast of 6 are not just the characters in the three folk tales and one original title story, but they are the sets, props, and everything else! Actors also teach in the Summer Institute of Fun, an acting camp for children.

Every summer our intrepid cast of six performs for children young and old! This summer we present to you Rapunzilla,The Monster with the Golden Hair at Hillside Theater. In addition to performing in our beautiful outdoor theater, our troupe will take the show on the road and perform free for children at various recreation centers in the area. As well as our annual Homecoming Performance.

The Summer Institute of Fun, an acting camp for children, will return this summer. In our camp kids get to learn the performance techniques from our summer show. Registration opens in February

 


During the academic year, Oxy students enrolled in our Children's Theater class go to local elementary schools where they teach theater and performance techniques to 3rd and 5th graders.

We also have classes in Storytelling and Improv for children on Saturday mornings in the Youth Acting Program. We are full in our Youth Storytellers class (Ages 6-8), however we have a couple spots open in our Youth Improv class (Ages 9-12)  is open.
